Dr. N. P. Singh
Dr. N. P. Singh completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and obtained his postgraduate degree in Ophthalmology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. After completing his postgraduate training, he worked at Dr. R.P. Centre (AIIMS), New Delhi, for five years. He subsequently served at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Hari Nagar, New Delhi, for about one year before joining Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar (BSA) Medical College & Hospital. At Dr. BSA Medical College & Hospital, Dr. Singh established the Department of Ophthalmology and, through his dedicated efforts and leadership, developed it into one of the leading modern ophthalmic departments in North-West Delhi. The department catered to a large patient population and received referrals from both government and private healthcare institutions across the region. Dr. Singh also played a pivotal role in medical education by initiating undergraduate (MBBS) teaching and postgraduate (DNB Ophthalmology) training programs in the institution. Under his guidance, the department actively contributed to the National Programme for Control of Blindness and other eye care initiatives of the Government of India and the Government of NCT of Delhi. With nearly 24 years of distinguished service at Dr. BSA Medical College & Hospital, Dr. Singh has now joined Tetravue Superspeciality Eye Centre, where he continues to provide comprehensive and specialized ophthalmic care.
